We’ve been working with analog tape for 5 DECADES! Our staff knows our machines inside and out to insure your valuable content is transferred the best it can be!

LARGE CASE
BETACAM Tapes
. Small case tapes are listed in another auction.
How It Works
1) You send us your tape(s) and a drive to put your files on at your expense.
2) We digitize your tapes (what you paid for on Ebay)
3) We ship the drive and tapes back paid by you via Paypal. (or upload the files at no charge)
Formats
We can transfer to any format you need but our most popular is MP4 at 1080. We do hardware based real time upscaling at no extra charge and it looks awesome! Our standard service includes calibrating our time base corrector to the bars and tone on your tape to insure an exact un-manipulated transfer.  We also offer color grading at a nominal additional fee.
DVDs
We can provide you with DVDs but . . . . reality is that DVD is an obsolete format and you will be transferring a
really
obsolete format for a
not so
obsolete format. The other issue is the video on a DVD is standard definition size (720 x 480) and unless upscaled will be pretty small on your screen. With the MP4 files, you can view the files on your computer, share them with family and friends and have the benefit of having them upscaled to HD size image (1440 x 1080).
Media Requirements
If you want your files in MP4 format we can upload your files to our server for you to download. If you want ProRes or uncompressed files, we need a drive to put your digitized files on to send you.  You can send one with your tapes, order one online and have it delivered directly to us, or have us provide one (additional cost of course). Drive size is determined by the length of your tape and the target format we are digitizing to.  It’s always good to give us a shout to verify we have all the details covered with you.
Processing and Shipping
Our turn-around time is generally 3-5 days from receiving both your tapes (and drive if needed). Your tapes and drive will be sent back to you and shipping billed via Paypal. The shipping is additional to what your Ebay purchase of the transfer fee is. We will hold a digital copy of your transfers for back-up until you verify you have received your files and all is well.
Discounts
A quantity discount is available. If you have us transfer 10 tapes, we do one free. That’s 10 tapes for the price of 9 tapes. Simply order (9) when you check out and send us 10 tapes. Please let us know you are requesting the quantity discount in advance.
Damaged Tape
If your tapes are molded we cannot run them. Please examine your tapes
before
you send them. If we receive tapes we can’t run we cannot not return shipping costs.  If your tapes are creased or have tape damage we will let you know the location on the program where it is found.
Liability
We are not responsible for your tapes arriving at our facility. Please be sure you send them with a tracking number! When they arrive here you will be notified by the shipper and we will reply to you as well.
