Yes, we do custom video projects! In addition to restoration work, we do compositing and production for television and film. Send us a message for a quote on your custom project.
We will digitize and restore up to a 2-hour VHS, Betamax, or miniDV tape and deliver it to you in your choice of digital formats.
This item includes the following specific services:
You box up your old tapes and ship them to our office in Tupelo.
Upon arrival, your package is carefully inventoried and stored securely until time to return it to you.
Your tapes are captured to a PC using professional equipment and lossless codec for editing - no recording decks here!
Professional editing to remove dead air and create clean transitions between scenes and segments.
High-quality deinterlacing with QTGMC or inverse telecine with Decomb (if applicable)
Digital noise reduction to remove tape artifacts without loss of image detail
Scene-by-scene color correction with DaVinci Resolve
Manual repair of drop-outs, off-locks, chroma bleeding, banding, and other common videotape problems
Removal of ground loop, camera noise, tape hiss, and other common audio problems
Advanced software encoding for the best quality with the smallest file size
Everything is done in-house at our Tupelo studio, nothing is outsourced. Your tapes and your privacy are safe.
All original tapes are returned to you at the conclusion of the project
Finished video files will be delivered to you as a digital download unless otherwise agreed
Unfortunately, we cannot transfer any commercially produced content for any reason. Sorry, but this is a firm rule. We typically respond to messages during our regular business hours, 8am-5pm CDT.
Note: This listing is for delivery as a digital download. If you prefer it on a physical medium like DVD, Blu-Ray, flash drive, etc., those must be purchased separately. However, if you want to include your own flash drive in the box with your tapes, we will be glad to put your video on it at no cost and return it to you with the rest of your media.
