    HE WAS ALSO EDITOR OF THE BASE NEWSPAPER, THE GOLDEN GATE GUARDIAN, INTERVIEWED VISITING CELEBRITIES INCLUDING ELEANOR ROOSEVELT PICTURED HERE VISITING TROOPS AT LETTERMAN GENERAL HOSPITAL AT THE PRESIDIO OF SAN FRANCISCO.
